WHAT IS VESO?

VESO or Vaasan eteläsuomalainen osakunta is a student association for southern-Finnish students in Vaasa. We organize events and activities for students coming from the southern part of Finland and everyone else who is interested! Veso was founded in 1996, and we have approximately 750 members. Our main language is Finnish, but we welcome all international students to get involved, too. If you have any questions or need translations, don't hesitate to ask us through Instagram dm's or email.

GET INVOLVED!

We organize events and parties in Vaasa, but also provide party-bus rides to national student events in other cities too. We also organize monthly membership nights, which are easygoing events and activities, such as trying out new sports or going to restaurants together. The latest updates and information of our events can be found in our Instagram @veso_ry.

You can purchase our membership in Kide.App. It costs 14 euros and is valid through your entire study time. As a member you will get our overall patch and a membership sticker, which acts as a proof of your membership. You can also show your VESO membership in Kide.App to prove your membership. MEMBERSHIP benefits

As a member of VESO you are entitled to:

cheaper tickets for our events in Vaasa
a right to buy tickets for the party-buses to events in other cities (only for members)
monthly membership nights (free or low cost)
